ABOUT US
Mission
Cuby's mission is to empower others to build a better physical world.
Vision
Our vision is to deploy a network of Mobile Micro-Factories (MMF)™ at a global scale to solve challenges within the construction economy, making high-quality [anything] faster and more affordable for everyone.
Why This Matters
Abundance begins with housing—and housing is an engineering problem we're solving at scale.

Founding Story
Aleh Kandrashou ran a 100-engineer product development company. When it came time to build a new facility, he discovered what the industry treats as normal: construction isn't a system. It's a series of handoffs where no one owns the outcome.
Aleh Kandrashou ran a 100-engineer product development company. When it came time to build a new facility, he discovered what the industry treats as normal: construction isn't a system. It's a series of handoffs where no one owns the outcome.
Aleksandr Gampel spent a decade in institutional real estate—billion-dollar projects that cleared every checkpoint on paper and still blew budget and schedule. The root cause was always the same: labor scarcity, fragmented execution, no repeatable model.
They'd never met. But they'd reached the same conclusion.
They'd both surveyed the "industrialized construction" landscape. Nothing on the market made sense. So they went back to first principles.
After a serendipitous introduction, they aligned around three constraints:
Manufacturing must be local. Centralized factories can't solve a distributed problem.
The system must look and feel familiar. If incumbents can't adopt it and regulators can't approve it, it won't scale.
It must hit cost parity—or better. Marginal improvement isn't worth the friction.
They dropped everything, self-funded early R&D, and founded Cuby.
Five and a half years and 1,250,000+ engineering hours later, what emerged is the Mobile Micro-Factory™—a deployable manufacturing system where the factory is the product and deployment is the business model.
Not a concept. Not a prototype. The first and only end-to-end solution to construction's throughput problem—now operating in the field.

Company Timeline
Pre-2021
The Beginning
Early exploration and foundational research inside Aleh's product development company, EnCata. The R&D team validated first-principles manufacturing concepts and established the technical basis for what would become Cuby. ~50,000 engineering hours invested prior to company formation.
2021
Company Formed & First Prototype Built
Cuby is formed as a U.S. C-Corp, and the founding team formalizes around a single mandate: engineer construction like a production system. A first prototype home is built on an early architecture (distinct from today's platform) to pressure-test manufacturability and end-to-end delivery.
2022
Machine Design & First Institutional Capital
Cuby designs and prototypes the core manufacturing stations that underpin the Mobile Micro-Factories™ (MMF). Institutional capital is secured to scale engineering, harden the system, and transition from prototypes to repeatable field deployment.
2023
Field Validation & Internal Operating System
Cuby validates real-world build execution using MMF hardware in the field. In parallel, Cuby launches its internal operating system—the "brain" coordinating R&D, project execution, traceability, and production workflows across teams and geographies.
2024
FOAK at Scale & Soft Commercialization
Cuby designs, develops, and deploys its first-of-a-kind MMF pilot facility at scale—producing components for early projects with real in-field assembly. Partner engagements begin in earnest as Cuby transitions from proving capability to proving repeatability.
2025
U.S. Market Entry & Full Commercialization
Cuby completes its first U.S. homes, finalizes MMF V1.3, and accelerates global manufacturing readiness. The PAPA factory (the factory that builds Mobile Micro-Factories™) is stood up in under seven months in China, enabling faster replication of MMF capacity. Cuby expands beyond "homes" to a broader set of byproducts addressable by the same platform, and moves into full commercialization with MMF deployments secured.
2026 & Beyond
Phase I of Master Plan
Cuby continues Phase I execution and expands deployments across the U.S., with the next MMF deployments coming online (including Nevada). Phase I targets 275 Mobile Micro-Factories™—a repeatable, distributed manufacturing network designed to scale globally. Subsequent phases (II, III, and IV) on the horizon.
BUILT BY A TEAM WITH A DECADE OF OVERLAP AND DEEP DOMAIN EXPERTISE
Leadership Team
Aleh is a Ph.D. economist and physicist with 20+ years of deep expertise building and scaling industrial R&D and advanced manufacturing ventures worldwide (each to profitability), Also, he's the author of The Human Vector. Lastly, Aleh has significant skin-in-the-game, personally funding Cuby in its early innings.

Our Values
Think From First Principles
Question every assumption. Conventional thinking is a trap — we lead, never follow.
High Agency, No Hierarchy
We are the constraint. Transparency and ownership beat rank. Take initiative and act without permission.
Velocity Above All
Ship in weeks, not years. We move fast, fail faster, and keep moving forward.
Simplicity Is the Ultimate Sophistication
Simple is brutally hard to build — but it scales forever and wastes nothing.
Compound Everything
1% better every day beats 100% better once a year.
Hard Things Are Hard
If it were easy, everyone would do it. Persistence through difficulty defines our success.
